A New Ministry is Formed

New Zealand has been ruled by many Ministries now. The seat of power, the Capital, has shifted from Sydney to Russell to Auckland and, finally, to Wellington. This transition took just over 25 years as The State took over the free colonies by invading north-to-south. As any Anarchist will tell you, The State is not New Zealand but a parasite load carried by the nation.
How do we put up with this? The State has expanded its power over time by telling us what we want to hear. By making grand election promises to gain and keep power. When it fails to keep them the political class shuffles itself and makes some glorious new promises.
The State hangs on by telling New Zealanders that they are in charge, via their ability to vote. The politicians tell us they are leading us and we believe it when in reality they are led by what is most popular to the public. If the Old Boss falls we get a New Boss who we think will be different because the names and faces and livery and seating arrangement in the Debating Chamber change.
The State expands because it never lets a crisis go to waste. They don’t make their own crises but wait for them to occur so that they can pounce. While the population is reactive to some temporary issue The State will jam in some new legislation or take some new power using the crisis event as cover to do so. Scores of lobbyists and policy researchers already have these power-grabs well mapped out in advance and are only waiting for their ship to come in. They hope a kid will be bitten by fireworks or drown in a lollypop or choke on a dog so that they can regulate or ban something in the guise of responding to a public demand for action. “Safety” and “Standards” and “Transparency” and “Competition” are some of the sounds The State makes during expansion.
Sales tax is a simple example of how The State steals from you. A buyer and a seller choose to do business. Free people making choices, exchanging value-for-value in a win-win situation. Right away the Inland Revenue Department demand 15% of that value be sent into their coffers. That’s theft. The State has us convinced that the ‘tax’ amount is required so in order for such transactions to safely and legally take place. Idea being that people are so rotten that without government oversight (or pretense at it) we would regularly try to con each other and never be able to resolve our own disputes. Yet, if you ever do need to access the government dispute resolution services the police and courts are either too slow or too expensive to be any use.
Parking tickets are only a little more complex. The State sells moral cover for roving contract spys to observe the location of your car. Countdown-timer zones are designated around your own town and your own country. Some are set for 120, 60, or 5 minutes. The State tells us this is the best way for competition to flourish in the car park market place so we will let them do it. Also they will say this is why the footpaths and roads are so clean and even and pot-hole free even though this is seldom in evidence. Actually, shop or mall owners would gladly take full responsibility for their local street and do a far better job but The State jealously guards the prerogative for “Safety” and “Transparency,” or so they have us accept. In truth this zoning and control is simply another revenue stream for our governing parasites. Your home territory has thus been converted into a hunting ground with you as the prey. Licenses to hunt are highly sought after by Statreprener contractors who probably secure such Royal prerogative monopolies by ‘helping’ their own friendly State politicians get elected. Any ‘earnings’ from their kill over and above the licence fee and wages for the enforcer goons is profit. So, the contractors are highly motivated to strike fast and hard. They get their money by taking possession of your car with a wheel clamp or even by stealing it by truck back to a holding yard and extorting the owner to pay for release. If you wont pay the sum demanded on a parking ticket then they are further empowered by The State to sell your “debt” to yet another contractor, a Debt Collector, such as Baycorp. They will buy your debt for a much lesser price than you were being expected to pay and then they will try to sell it to you at an even higher price than that! Victims capitulate often enough for the entire scheme to be sustainable for all these levels of the food chain of which you, the food, are at the bottom.
Now, if you’ve followed along this far why not take it all the way? Why not suppose that every scheme and scam of The State is exactly like the above? Every State Department, Ministry, every State Owned Enterprise, each quango, Corporation, Commission, Service, Squad, Agency, Branch, Inspectorate, and Authority are all variations of the theme. Everything in the blue section of your Yellow Pages is a phone number for the public face of a particular division of State paracite. If we start to resent it they change their names, their logo, their CEO, but so what? Lately they all re-branded with Maori names to provide some fresh cover but will discard those soon enough when worn out as well. Each of these organisations is taking over the role of private, free, individuals for the sake of power and delivering an inferior service. This Outter State is made possible only because of our Inner State. New Zealand Statism depends upon our Core Belief that, like infants, we can never meet our own needs. Worse, that we can meet less and less of them as time goes on. Eventually this lack of self-esteem leads to total control of our lives by Big Brother.
Nor will we snap out of our mind prison even though our eyes show us that Big Brother is doing a very bad job. When Government is caught losing our information or money or productivity frivolously they are at risk of exposure. We might see behind the curtain and realise that it’s all a sham and revolt? New Zealand has become a People Farm and we are the stock? Nope! Our Core Beliefs kick in, our Schema processes this information as “one bag egg.” Someone is made to take the fall, perhaps even a Prime Minister, perhaps an entire Government Ministry is changed by General Election. Change the faces and carry on.
Apparently Warren Buffett famously said…’I don’t know why they continue to make new mistakes, when the old ones work perfectly well’. I can answer that! What we write off as “mistakes” are nothing of the sort. Our Governments use incompetence as a cover of last resort and we let them because it’s too humiliating and traumatic for us to believe we are being farmed. Remember the 4 Fs when it comes to trauma response: Fight, Flight, Freeze, and Fawn. Identifying with and sucking up to one’s captor is a well-documented reaction in a captive. You will have heard of Stockholm Syndrome and perhaps even the Milgram Experiment and Stanford Prison Experiment. Nobody ever thinks it would happen to them.
National Government ‘mistakes’ line their pockets. Labour Government ‘mistakes’ line theirs. Neither of them can leave the ediface of State organised schemes and scams alone or they wont get paid. Read the history of New Zealand and it becomes clear with every event. The only think keeping us stuck down in Plato’s Cave is that we have been conditioned to believe in The State. The State operates only in the areas we morally surrender to and if not for that it wouldn’t be able to issue a single parking ticket. Colonial New Zealand was pretty free but after 200 years our parasite load becomes so heavy that any nation has about run out of tricks and re-inventions and re-brandings to keep the host passified and unaware. This is the bit where ‘Atlas Shrugs’ or falls down dead unable to sacrifice any more of his productivity.
Our so-called democracy, the idea that a new Ministry is going to change our dire plight, is the greatest load-bearing lie we tell ourselves. Making apologies for Statism has been our ruin. Individual Liberty our only way out.
