1913: The Kaiser’s Christmas Card

December 17, 2020

By AHNZ

Kaiser Bill’s Christmas card (and gift) to New Zealand according to Trevor Lloyd of the Auckland Weekly News.

On this day in New Zealand history, 17 December, 1913. Woe and War and Want. So it was; The Great Wrong War.

I don’t blame the Huns though, it was The State that got us into this disastrous mess.

Anarchist History of New Zealand: Long ago the country bore the country-town and nourished it with her best blood.
